Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where are you located?
    Sessions are held in person in Pasadena, California.
  • Do you provide online therapy?
    Yes! We provide online therapy to clients all over California.
  • How much does therapy cost? Do you take insurance?
    A 50 minute session ranges between $175 and $245. We are considered out-of-network providers; however, we are happy to offer a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance company.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Our policy states that you would need to cancel at least 48 hours in advance before the start of your session in order to not incur a fee. If you cancel within that 48 hour window before the start of your session, you will be charged the full fee.
  • Can I do group and individual therapy at the same time?
    Absolutely! Group therapy is a great opportunity to bring relational work that you are doing on in your own therapy into a group setting and put it into practice!
  • How long are sessions?
    Sessions are typically 50 minutes. We do provide extended 75 or 90 minute sessions upon request.
  • How long will I need to be in therapy?
    This varies for everyone. It depends on what you are coming into therapy for and what we will be working on together. Some people come for a short amount of time and some stay for several years. This can be discussed with your therapist when you begin working together.
  • Do you have a free consultation?
    Yes we do! Contact us via email or phone and we will set up a free 15 minute consultation with one of our therapists.
  • How often would I meet with my therapist?
    We meet with our clients on a weekly basis. Occasionally a client may need an extra session for additional support which our therapists will do their best to accommodate.
