Miranda Kent
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Miranda believes that healing and lasting change is possible for everyone — and that the path there is as unique as the person walking it. Caring and direct in her approach, she holds space with empathy and creativity, helping clients uncover the unconscious blocks that stand between them and genuine peace, self-acceptance, and full self-expression.
These blocks often show up in the places that matter most: in love, at work, and in the quiet stories we tell ourselves about who we are. Many have deep roots — coping styles formed in childhood that once kept us safe, but no longer serve who we're becoming. Drawing from a depth psychology approach, Miranda works at the level of the unconscious, helping clients access the deeper layers of their inner world where lasting change truly begins.
She works with individuals, couples, and parents in the Los Angeles area, weaving together EMDR therapy for trauma healing, Parts Work to befriend inner critics and wounded younger selves, and Couples Therapy to help partners rebuild understanding and connection — all tailored to each person's unique story.
Miranda earned her Master's Degree in Psychology from Mount St. Mary's University and completed clinical training at the regionally recognized Maple Counseling Center, with
additional studies in Child Development that inform her warm, attuned presence with clients today.
