Christina Ritchie

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Christina R_edited.jpg

Christina creates a safe, grounded therapeutic space where clients can feel supported, seen, and respected. She understands that many people come to therapy after experiences where their boundaries, trust, or sense of self were compromised, and she approaches the work with care and nonjudgment. Her goal is to help clients feel enough safety to explore what has been difficult and begin to reconnect with themselves and others.

Christina works with adults, couples, and adolescents navigating the effects of trauma, including PTSD, complex and developmental trauma, anxiety, depression, and recovery from narcissistic abuse. She is especially attuned to how trauma impacts relationships, self worth, and nervous system regulation. Her work is neuro-affirming, culturally responsive, and inclusive of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ community.

In her work with couples, Christina offers a balanced and supportive approach that honors each person’s experience while holding the relationship as a whole. She helps partners slow down, understand reactive patterns, and rebuild safety, communication, and trust. With individuals and adolescents, she supports healing from overwhelm, burnout, and disconnection while strengthening self awareness and resilience.

As a board certified music therapist, Christina integrates creativity, music, and somatic awareness into therapy, recognizing that trauma often lives beyond words. Her trauma informed work may include EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Somatic approaches, and Creative Arts Therapies.

Christina is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and board certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). She received her bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from California State University, Northridge, and her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Psychological Trauma Studies from Antioch University, Los Angeles.
